Project Description:
This facility serves the exclusive Provenance Subdivision in Southwest Shreveport, LA. The 12,000 s.f., three-bay fire station consists of a Kitchen, Captain’s Office, Day Room, Work Out Room, Captain’s/Driver’s Office, Secure Medical Storage, 8 Dorm Rooms, 4 Captain’s Rooms, and one District Chief’s Room. The building is equipped with WesNet station alerting system, Neederman Truck Exhaust Removal System and an emergency generator sized to support the entire facility. Being clad entirely in brick, burnished face masonry units, and standing seam metal roof panels, Fire Station #22 ties in well with its surroundings in the Provenance Subdivision.

This facility serves as the central station for the Parish wide Emergency Medical Services. The new, 10,000 square foot facility has 6 drive thru bays, Dispatch/Report Office, Supervisor Offices, Training/Board Room, Restrooms and Showers, Individual Dorm Rooms, Kitchen,Day Room, and Decon/Laundry Room.

Project Description:
Completed for the State of Louisiana, this project was a subsequent phase of an ongoing development at the State Park. Eight cabins were designed and constructed out over the Reservoir, along with 59 RV camping spurs with associated roadway, a campground comfort station and water play structure, hiking trails, decks, and sewer lift stations.
The cabins were constructed out in the reservoir in 2-cabin pods. Each cabin sleeps 6 guests, has one bathroom, living room, kitchen, sundeck, screen porch, and boat dock. The cabins were constructed of hardwood floors, board and batten cedar siding on exterior and interior, and standing seam metal roof. Each cabin has its own boat dock equipped with tie downs and a power/water pedestal with night light. The cabin pods are accessed from a boardwalk that ties into the levee and perimeter road.
Each RV spur contains full water, sewer and power connections, fire ring, bar-b-que grille, tent pad, and lantern post. The comfort station has restrooms, showers, and a laundry facility.
Construction Cost: $4,293,000.00

Project Description:
This facility is a 16,500 s.f. material distribution warehouse located at Fort Polk Army Base to serve the Joint Readiness Training Command. This warehouse includes 3,744 s.f. of fully conditioned space for distribution of refrigerated goods and retail sales of personal field items and commercial items that support other base operations. The building, located in a central area of the base, is designed to the Force Protection Guideline with special attention to the building offsets to paved surfaces and controlled access to the truck docks and parking.

Project Description:
The Taylors house is a located on Black Bayou. They entertain frequently and wanted their existing wood deck removed and converted to a covered outdoor kitchen and seating area with fire place. The result was an 868 square foot patio renovation that created a new concrete deck with flagstone retaining walls, roof addition, marine grade outdoor cabinets with granite counter tops, sink, referigerator, and built-in gas grill.

Project Description:
The new 12 home, gated community was developed for the City of Shreveport’s Office of Community Development. These homes range in size from 1,100 to 1,400 square feet. Floor plans consist of two or three bedrooms with two bathrooms. All houses are handicap accessible, designed with Energy Star Appliances, low odor finishes, energy efficient HVAC units, and insulating windows and doors. Our firm served as the Project Architect in association with the lead engineering firm of Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc. Phase I of this project was awarded the Gabe Zimmerman Community Development Achievement Award in Washington DC in January 2011. We are currently developing plans for Phase II of this project.

Project Description:
Shreveport Little Theatre is considered to be the nation’s oldest continuously operating community theater. Our firm has worked with this organization on a series of projects ultimately providing them with an updated facility sized to house their current needs. The first project was a 9,596 s.f. addition of a new stage, and shell space for future expansion. The second project was replacement of a 4,713 s.f. portion of the building that was destroyed by fire including a new Auditorium, Lobby, and Box Office. The third project was furnishing and installing all rigging equipment, curtains, stage lighting and controls for the facility. The final project was adding dressing rooms, costume shop, rehearsal hall, prop shop, prop storage and offices to the previously constructed shell space.

Project Description:
A 2,555 square foot Irish themed sports bar located adjacent to the main Boardwalk entrance adjacent to the parking garage and across from Cheesecake Bistro. The owner, Willy O’Sullivan wanted the design to reflect a traditional Irish pub setting where friends could gather and have a pint with an order of fish ‘n chips or sheppard’s pie and watch European football (soccer) on the TV’s. Our services included the interior and kitchen design, equipment selection, bar design, and furniture selection and installation.

This facility for Career Technical College Campus includes 22,400 s.f. of space that houses Medical and Surgical Assistant Laboratories, 9 large Classrooms, 2 Computer Lab/ Classrooms, 9 Massage Therapy Classrooms, 13 offices, Admissions and Financial Aid Offices, Student Lounges, and Library. In 2008, an additional 9,536 sq. ft. of space was added that became the Advanced Cosmetology Department.

The Center is a one-stop location with three distinct areas: the Low Vision Clinic – offering Low Vision Evaluations after referral from the patient’s eye care professional; Sensory Aids Store – open daily to the general public offering the latest technology to enhance the client’s remaining vision levels; and a Training Center – offering complete rehabilitation services and programs for all ages.
